Klay is a newlywed herself (we took their photos!) and can easily understand what you're going through as a newly engaged couple. She has a bubbly personality with a servants heart. She's a creative soul and it shows in her photography and her outfits! Klay has been shooting since 2016 and has many portrait sessions and weddings under her belt. She believes shooting weddings is such an important job and she can't wait to tell your story!

Melanie has been shooting weddings professionally for over 20 years! She and her husband Jeff owned a boutique studio in North Carolina where they shot over 300 weddings and a bazillion family sessions. After having their 4th child, Melanie reprioritized and slowly began phasing out of full time shooting in order to focus more on homeschooling her kids and serving her local church. In 2017 their crew moved to Hattiesburg and added a surprise fifth baby to the mix a year later! With kids ranging from 25 down to 3, photography is her lifeline as a break from the insanity of her house! She loves keeping her skills sharp by shooting a few weddings a year as well as seasonal family sessions in the Fall and Spring. She’s thrilled to join April & Paul as an associate photographer and looks forward to the amazing couples that will come her way!
